We’ve been installing stoves and manufacturing fireplaces since 1913 so we know a thing or two about the business!

When you buy from us you can be assured you’re buying from a company with dedicated, experienced and friendly staff who will be more than happy to give you all the advice you need from sizes of stoves to design to installation and then aftercare.

Even if you are not able to call in to our showroom you can speak to us directly or email if you prefer.

This website was set up to cater mainly for our customers who want to buy a stove on a supply-only basis. We are still very keen to install your new stove but we understand that sometimes it’s just not possible. If you are looking for a supply AND fit service from us please call us to arrange a free, no-obligation site survey BEFORE choosing your stove.

How do I pay for my new stove?

You can buy your new stove without ever having to visit our showroom (although you’ll not get to see our lovely staff!)

We do not have an e-commerce facility on this site i.e. you don’t pop a stove in a ‘basket’ and go through payment online. We prefer to talk to each of our customers and check they know exactly what they’re buying. We’re open 9-5pm Monday to Friday with late till 7pm on Thursdays, and 10-4pm on Saturdays. Out with these times you can email our Company iPhone for an immediate response info@scottishstoves.co.uk or text STOVES to 07717 213 428 and we’ll call you right back.

We ask for full payment for your new stove before it’s delivered as our delivery men, for security reasons, do not carry cash or cheques. You can pay with a credit or debit card over the phone (and we will NOT charge you a surcharge for doing so) or by BACS transfer.

Delivering your new stove

If you would like your stove delivered we will be happy to help but please feel free to source your own delivery costs for comparison to see if you can save on these costs (we can give you the weight of each stove to help you get an accurate carriage quote).

Stoves are very heavy and in most cases will require two (strong!) people to lift - and on occasion three or even four people will be needed (especially for larger/boiler model stoves). This is the reason that delivery costs tend to be high, so if you have someone fit and able to help our driver off-load your new stove you can save costs.

Beware of web cowboys!

Beware of a surge of new companies selling stoves with no prior experience and not a great deal of product knowledge. You may be lured by ‘cheap’ prices but find yourself sorely disappointed when you press that ‘Buy Now’ button. Some companies show VAT free prices and others try to sell you flue pipe and adaptors that you possibly don’t need.

All our prices INCLUDE VAT but NOT delivery.

If you want your new stove delivered - great - we’re happy to help source the best price for that service. If you want to come in to our showroom and pick it up - even better - then we get to meet you in person.

If you want flue pipe, adaptors or even a closure plate (often referred to as a register plate) for your new stove - fantastic - we sell all that too. You’ll find the prices in our Pimp Your Stove section - we don’t add anything to your sale without YOU asking for it.
